Couples We strongly believe that the local church has a responsibility to nurture and support healthy marriages. That’s why we offer a weekly marriage class on Sunday mornings , and we organize fun and exciting outings and events to provide couples with opportunities to strengthen the intimacy in their marriages.
Transform your marriage. Transform your life.
Ladies At APC, we call our women’s department our Ladies Ministry. Why? Because we believe it is important for women to celebrate their femininity and all of the unique and wonderful aspects of their gender.
Our inspiring monthly meetings on Wednesdays, our annual retreat every June, and our biennial conference in the fall are all designed to equip, motivate and empower women to discover and develop their areas of giftedness.
We also provide opportunities to serve through our hospitality services, during conferences and special events, and through our coordinated visitations to the sick and elderly.
Men Our dynamic men’s group provides our men, young and old, with opportunities to develop excellence in every area of their lives. Our culture has increasingly devalued men, fathers, marriage and masculinity, but we celebrate men and the important roles God has designed for them. Whether studying the Bible, fishing on the lake, helping a senior, or maintaining the church grounds; the APC Men of Valour provide a community of accountability, mentorship, opportunities to serve, and spiritual development.
We meet every last Wednesday of the month and our biennial Men’s Conference is held every other September.
Seniors If you’re a senior adult, we want to let you know that the mature members of our church family are one of our most valued resources! At APC, our seniors are convinced that life does not end at retirement! In fact, it can often be the beginning of a new and exciting phase where our ultimate purpose can flow into the lives of the ‘now’ generation.
Not only can you provide wisdom and spiritual support second to none, you are active, vibrant and full of life! Just as you are served under this ministry, you are also called to serve, and to be mentors and ‘teachers of good things.’ This way of thinking is reflected in our acronym, A.G.E.S.—Anointed, Godly, Edifying Seniors. That means that you can be empowered by God to enrich and enhance other people’s lives!
And while you serve, we will provide you with opportunities to stay connected; whether it is through our annual tea party, dinners, outings, visitation, or reaching out to the community.
In addition, various social supports are provided to and by our seniors; including but not limited to, home Bible studies for those that are shut in, friendship visits, grocery shopping, transportation assistance, and more.
Singles Are you a single adult who has been divorced, widowed, or never married? If so, we want to help you live your best life in whatever life stage or transition you find yourself.
Our aim is to engage our singles in serving others, building healthy relationships, and developing a meaningful and wholesome relationship with Jesus Christ.
We do this through organizing enjoyable, educational and uplifting events with other single adults in order to provide opportunities for your spiritual, social, and personal development
We meet every first Sunday of the month for food and fellowship, and we invite you to join us. You won’t be disappointed!
